CrownBet offers a wide range of deposit methods for customers to use, these include:

  • Debit Card

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

How Do I Deposit Via Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a simple, safe, and fast way to deposit into your CrownBet Account. It is only supported by Apple devices; you will be required to set up Apple Pay in your wallet via the link.

Please note that Apple Pay is not available as a method of payment when using a credit card.

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to deposit via Apple Pay.

  1. While on the CrownBet home page, navigate to your balance, click on your balance then below click on Deposit.

  2. Displayed will be several deposit methods and you will need to click Add New or select from existing.

  3. Click on the Apple Pay option, enter the deposit amount, and click deposit now.

  4. You will then be required to authenticate the Apple Pay deposit, once done so your funds will be instantly deposited into your account.

How To Deposit Via Debit Card?

Depositing via a debit card is a quick and simple process. Below is a step-by-step process on how to deposit via a debit card.

  1. While on the CrownBet home page, navigate to and click on your balance, then click on Deposit.

  2. Displayed will be several deposit methods and you will need to click Add New or select from existing.

  3. Then you will be prompted to input your card details as follows, Cardholder Name, Card Number, Card Expiry, CV2 Number, and finally the amount you would like to deposit into your account.

  4. Click Deposit Now to complete the process.

This card will now be saved on your account for future use, if you wish to delete the card you can do so at any time by navigating to the Deposits page and selecting the rubbish bin icon next to the payment method you wish to delete.

How to Deposit Via Google Pay?

Google Pay is a simple, safe, and fast way to deposit into your CrownBet Account. It is only supported by Android devices on version 9.0 or higher that have NFC technology. You will be required to add a debit card to your Google Wallet in order to use Google Pay – For info on how to add a debit card to your Google Wallet, click the link here for more details from Google Support.

Google Pay is not available as a method of payment using a credit card.

Google Pay is only available on the Android app. You must already have a debit card added to your wallet.

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to deposit via Google Pay.

  1. While on the CrownBet home page, click on your balance then click on Deposit.

  2. Click on the Google Pay option, enter the deposit amount, and click deposit now.

  3. You will then be required to authenticate the Google Pay deposit. Once you have done so, your funds will be instantly deposited into your account.

If you are unable to view Google Pay on the CrownBet App, it may be because you have not installed the Google Wallet App or have no cards added to your wallet. When you add a debit card to your wallet, you should be able to see & use Google Pay.

Please ensure you have:

  1. The Google Wallet App installed (from Play Store) on your Android device

  2. Logged in into the Wallet App with your Gmail account

  3. In your Gmail account the option “Share that you have Google Pay with companies outside Google” is turned ON (https://payments.google.com/gp/w/home/settings)

  4. At least one eligible card saved into the Wallet App

If you have done all the above and Google Pay is still not showing as a deposit method, please try adding another card or check with your banking provider that your card is able to be used with CrownBet via Google Pay.

Can I Use Family Or Friends Payment Method To Deposit?

No, all payment methods must be in the account holder’s name. This means that you are not permitted to use any family or friends’ payment methods to deposit funds into your account. If CrownBet detects third-party payments on an Account, CrownBet reserves the right to suspend the account.

Why Can’t I Deposit Funds?

Unable to make a deposit? There are a few reasons why this may occur, but most of them can be easily fixed.

You have insufficient funds available - Ensure you have sufficient funds available before attempting to deposit to your CrownBet account. In some circumstances, your bank may decline any large deposit attempts.

Your card has expired - Make sure your card is always up to date. If your card has recently expired, tap the pencil icon beside the card to update the expiry date.

Your bank declining your deposits - Some financial institutions may decline online transactions to gambling companies. If you are trying to deposit from an ANZ, Citibank, Macquarie Bank, Suncorp or Bank of Queensland account and are experiencing issues, we suggest you try an alternative deposit method or a card from another financial institution.

You have entered the incorrect CV2 - Ensure that the 3-digit code matches the one you've entered. If the CV2 does not match your bank will not authorise the deposit.

Your card has been reported lost or stolen - If you have recently reported your card lost or stolen your bank will not authorise a deposit on the card.

Have you hit your deposit limit? - It's always a good idea to have a deposit limit on your account. However, you may be trying to deposit over your limit, head to the ‘Responsible Gambling’ section under ‘Account’ to see how much you have left on your limit.

Have you completed your ID verification? If you haven't verified your account, your account may be suspended due to ID requirements. Please ensure that you have completed your verification before you try make a deposit.

Card still not working? - We suggest you get in contact with your financial institution to discuss any blocks that may be present on your card.

Are you trying to deposit with someone else's payment method?

You can only add payment methods that are registered under your name, you won't be able to add someone else's funds.

How Do I Add A New Card Or Update An Expired Card?

If you are looking to add a new card, you will need to follow the below steps:

While on the CrownBet home page, navigate to your balance, click on your balance then below click on Deposit. (Alternatively, you may also find the ‘Deposit’ page under ‘Account’)

Displayed will be several deposit methods and you will need to click Add New or select from existing.

Then you will be prompted to input your card details as follows, Cardholder Name (Card must be held in account holder's name), Card Number, Card Expiry, CV2 Number, and finally the amount you would like to deposit into your account.

Click Deposit Now to complete the process.

If your Debit card has expired and all other numbers have remained the same, you are able to update the expiry date following the below steps:

  • Navigate to the Deposit page.

  • You will then have a window of deposit methods, to the right of your Debit Card details there will be a pencil.

  • Click the pencil and you will be able to update the expiry date.

Can I Delete A Debit Card From My Account?

Yes, you may delete a debit card off your account at any time. This can be done by navigating to the ‘Deposit’ page. Find the card use wish to delete and then click on the rubbish bin symbol located next to the payment method.
